Please click here for a
flyer of the conference.
The deadline for submitting a paper (or
an extended abstract with at least 300 words) is
January 15,
2019. There is no submission fee, but to help better manage the
list of participants, a payment of part of the registration fee,
US$100 (or US$50 for graduate students) per paper, is required. This
fee will be deducted from the regular registration fee of US$320 (or
US$160 for graduate students), which is the same as last year’s.
Alternatively, the fee will be fully refunded under any of the
following situations: (a) if the paper is rejected for presentation;
or (b) if the paper is accepted for presentation but you decide
later that you will not come and notify us by June 1, 2019. (If such
notification is received after June 1, 2019 but before July 1, 2019,
then only 60 percent of the fee paid for this conference will be
refunded. After July 1, 2019, no refund of the submission fee will
be issued.)
There are two ways to send us your
submission. (i) For online submission, please
click here. After the payment, you will
be directed to a page with more submission information. (ii)
Alternatively, you can send your submission to <submit@apeaweb.org>
before paying the fee required for submission. You will be given
more time to pay the fee.
In your submission, please include the
following information of you and each of the co-authors (if any):
name, e-mail address, affiliation, academic rank (or graduate
student), and mailing address. Please also include the JEL codes of
your paper. Please note that submission of more than one paper by
the same author is highly discouraged, unless different papers will
be presented by different co-authors. In the latter case, please
specify the presenter of each of the papers submitted.
Economists are also encouraged to organize sessions in
the conference. Each session will last for 2 hours, consisting of
four papers (three or five papers are possible, to be presented by
different authors), one chair (not necessarily the session organizer
but preferably not one of the presenters or discussants), and the
corresponding discussants, if any. Please submit by
February 15, 2019 a proposal for one
or two sessions to <submit@apeaweb.org>.
The proposal should provide an explanation of the theme and all
papers to be presented (a draft or an extended abstract of the
paper), including the e-mail and mailing addresses, affiliations,
academic ranks, and phone and fax numbers of the organizer, session
chair, presenters, and discussants. All presenters will have to pay
the registration fee (US$320, or US$160 for graduate students) per
paper later. The organizer of each session is responsible for
reminding the authors of the payment of the registration fees. |
|
All participants have to register.
The registration fee is US$320 for regular participants or US$160 for
students.
